Important updates regarding Durga Puja


Dear Swisspuja members, Puja is round the corner and we know that you are curious to know the details, so here are some important updates:
  1. You will receive an e-invitation card with all the timings in the next few days.
  2. You will need to register for specific slots when you wish to visit the Puja venue.
  3. A Website has been developed for this, the link to which you will receive with the e-card as well as vide our next email by October 10th.
  4. The slots when you can visit the Puja Venue are:
    • 22nd Saptami
      Pushpanjali Slot 1: 10.30- 12.00
      Pushpanjali Slot 2: 12:30 - 2.00
      Evening slot for Arati : 4.30 - 6.30
    • 23rd Ashtami
      Pushpanjali Slot 2:12:30 - 2.00
      Pushpanjali Slot 1: 10.30- 12.00
      Evening slot for Arati : 4.30 - 6.30
    • 24th Navami Sandhi Puja : 7.00 - 9.00
      Pushpanjali Slot 1 : 10.30 - 12.00
      Pushapanjali Slot 2 & Hom : 12.30 - 3.00
      Evening Arati - 4.30 - 7.00
    • 25th Dashami
      Pujo and Anjali (No Sindur Khela) 10.30-12.30
  5. You can book a place for yourself and family for a maximum of 2 slots in a day. Please be selective and ensure that you are actually able to come in that time slot. This will help ensure that every member wishing to visit the Puja Venue gets an opportunity to do so.
  6. You will receive a confirmation of your time slot in the form of a 'ticket'. This would be the basis for entering the venue. Mere registration is not a confirmation. Tickets will only be sent to members, following the principles of first come first served as well as fair chance of participation to all who register. Therefore please do not book too many slots. A waiting list may be possible in case of untoward cancellations by someone.
  7. While booking your slot you can also book and pay for your Bhog. Simple packed Bhog will be available both in the morning and evening from 22nd i.e., Saptami till Dashami lunch. Please pay online and reserve your Bhog as quantities will be limited to avoid wastage.
  8. All visitors must abide by the Protection Concept that is attached and will also be available for reference on our Facebook page and website.
  9. Please do not visit the venue if you are an 'exposed person' or suffering any kind of ill-health. Please see the flow chart below to determine this.
  10. All important Pujas including Pushpanjali, Sandhi Puja and Hom as well as the cultural program shall be broadcast. You can enjoy them from the safety of your home.
  11. For those members who wish to have only a short darshan, a special slot from 3 to 4 pm is possible on Saptami (22nd) and Ashtami (23rd) afternoon. If you wish to visit in these slots pl write to ecmember@swisspuja.org and we shall revert to you with the number of persons who are likely to be at the venue at that time for you to decide if you would like to visit.
  12. Please note you need to bring your own water bottle and masks to the venue. This is for your health and safety.
